The Knight Day of Comfort is observed near Thanksgiving or Christmas time. In the belief that no man can be a good citizen if he does not take cognizance of those less fortunate to himself, it is the duty of members to bring joy and comfort into the lives of others. Crippled children, orphans, older persons, the hospitalized, the friendless, and poor are visited, presented with gifts, entertained, taken on outings, or provided with some means of comfort and remembrance.
