As we observe National Mentoring Month, we reflect on the profound impact mentors have on shaping the lives of youth. Since 1958, the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of North Carolina has sponsored and supported the North Carolina Council Order of Knights of Pythagoras. A mentoring program for boys between the ages of 8 to 18.
Together they have championed mentorship, empowering young men to succeed. This initiative, rooted in Prince Hall Masonry, has transformed the lives of hundreds across North Carolina, guiding them to become lawyers, engineers, healthcare professionals, military officers, and more.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all Prince Hall Masons and Advisors who have dedicated their time to mentoring young men. Your efforts have left an enduring mark, creating opportunities and inspiring countless success stories. As
mentoring.org highlights, youth with mentors are more likely to pursue higher education and achieve their goals, underscoring the importance of your contributions.
Together, let us continue this vital work, not only in January but throughout the year. Your unwavering commitment to guiding and supporting our youth ensures a brighter future for generations to come. Thank you for making a meaningful difference.
