NCKOP is announcing Brother James Purington has been appointed to Assistant Grand Knight Director of the piedmont region. During the Piedmont Regional Showcase on 04/10/2021, which was also his birthday; our Grand Master Daniel L. “DT” Thompson made the announcement during his remark to the region. This made Purington’s birthday even more special.

Brother Purington has been in masonry for 8 years and a Past Master with Widow’s Son Lodge 4. He has been actively involved with Widow’s Son Council 27 for 5 years and served as Assistant Regional Director. Brother Purington has been instrumental in communicating with active Councils and reactivating councils within the region. Brother Purington is a trusted and valuable resource in the engagement and growth of NCKOP. He has shown his dedication to investing in the youth of North Carolina.
